And I am telling you that it doesn't matter if ppl care because it isn't gona slow anything down. The demand is there and so is the supply. When they stopped selling assault weapons it did zero.

They already don't sell handguns. They stopped selling the "scary" rifles a long time ago.
They're still going to sell rifles that are MUCH more powerful than the "scary" rifles.
And they are still going to sell Shotguns.
And they are still going to sell the ammo for those rifles and shotguns.
I doubt this makes a dent in their overall ammo sales.

Anyyone that open carries and buy ammo for their modern sporting rifles at Wal Mart is fucking stupid. Everyone knows you buy ammo for that online.

I'm a pretty big 2nd Amendment guy, but people who open carry - especially those who have rifles strapped to their backs in public - are real life trolls just looking for a reaction.
I saw a dude with a rifle walking out of a local (non-chain) coffee house a few months ago. It's stupid, alarming and invites confrontation. People who do that shit have a screw loose.

I'm in favor of background checks and mandatory training and classes, including live-fire demonstration of competency and safety.
I also think some sort of annual test should be necessary for renewing a CCW license - sort of like we do for a driver's license. The current CCW license is for 5 years, but most states allow them to be renewed online over and over.

That's how driver's licenses work in FL except it's 10 years. There might be a requirement to do a vision test every so often. I don't remember.

I open carry now and then. Depends on the surroundings. You have to be very vigilant w your siuational awareness. Can't have anyone close to you.
I've had nothing but good reactions from ppl. I usually try to dress nice when I do it so I don't look like a tard.
Vision test in Ohio for drivers license is every 4 years.
Apparently that changes state to state.
I also think that as people get older - say 65 and over - that vision test should be every year for driver's license. But that's a different topic.
I'm just saying that if a guy earned his CCW at 22 years old that it shouldn't be an automatic renewal for the rest of their life. What if he was in an accident and is now blind? Still want him carrying? Like Ray Charles in Blues Brothers?

Only open carry handgun tho. Never rifle
I'm talking common calibers for handguns - which I assume is what they are talking about.Weird, this doesn't look like a handgun to me.
I'm just pointing out that it's illogical. Ie, Is 22LR (long rifle) handgun, short barrel rifle or rifle ammo?

But my assumption is the .22 caliber would still be available, while something like the .38 would not be - maybe?
Although I'm sure there is a rifle out there that takes a .38 so I guess those guys are just shit outta luck.
Or they can just order their ammo online like everyone else.
If you can explain to me the difference between handgun/short barreled rifle ammo, and rifle ammo I'm all ears. The idea sounds like something that was conjured up by a bunch of know nothing dipshits.
