I'm talking of course about the Canadian federal election that takes place in a month and a half.

Polls are currently neck-and-neck between the incumbent, Justin "JT Money" Trudeau and his ruling Liberal Party

and his leading opponent, Andrew "Not all Ontarians drink milk from bags" Scheer and his opposition Conservative Party

I CAN'T FUKN WAIT TILL OCTOBER 21!!!!!!!!!!

no clue. i should probably learn more about Canadian politics and culture before i continue to debate moving there
Don't worry about the politics as they're rather boring. If you plan on moving anywhere from the Rockies west then you'll love the culture and people based on what I've seen of you online. If you plan on moving here but feel the need to let every person you meet know you're American then I'd suggest moving to Ontario.

Big shots in Toronto will try to shame the rest of Ontario into reelecting Trudy by virtue of his, well, his superior virtue. But it won't work, folks there are just as tired of the drama teacher as the rest of us are. Trudy takes the Maritimes, Quebec and Toronto, Scheer sweeps most of the rest of Canada with the NDP only getting seats in BC. Scheer should win a small majority.

Lol. I'm embarrassed to be an American. I want to become something else. Ideally I would move just over the border around New York state so that I'm still close to my sisters lil army in north west Jersey but I'd like to be near to at least a small ski resort in a very suburban, Leaning towards rural area. (I havent checked out Canadas topography yet tho so I might be shit out of luck

the federal NDP will be decimated and may not even retain party status

Yep, they'll be looking at a BC rump party situation. 10-12 seats. They were nuts to dump Mulcair who was a decent leader for them imo.

this is the difference in elections right here. our election writ must be dropped by sept 15 at the latest and the election date is set by law to be the 3rd monday in october in the 4th calendar year following the previous election . the american election seems to go on for 2 years with the candidate selection ,midterms, and actual election campaigns it seems like half of the actual term is spent on some form of election. ours is over in a couple weeks. trudeaus has been campaigning hard on the taxpayer dollar for the last month or so but everyone else must wait for the writ to drop before spending any party money on the election campaign.

In the case of Trump in 2016 the fallout from that election still hasn't ended and we're into the next one now.

Are you wearing one of those 1970’s earpieces?

If so, I’m done with you, particularly after you wrote you’re going to a live game of thrones show

You ain’t getting a third strike

It's a wireless earbud. Blue tooth. Welcome to 2020. And the game of thrones thing isnt a play. Its ramin djawadis music, like an orchestra. And they play a solice if clips on screens behind it, but it's about the wizards music. I'm so pumped
