Nick Diaz may have been sidelined for more than four years now, but he still remains to be a big name in the sport. And for Georges St-Pierre, the elder Diaz brother could’ve been a much bigger superstar.

In a recent interview with FanSided, the retired UFC superstar spoke about his former adversary, and how Nick could’ve fared against today’s top welterweights.

“I think just it’s sad to see a guy like him waste his best years,” St-Pierre said of Diaz. “Stylistically it would have been a nightmare for a guy like Tyron Woodley.”

Diaz was slated for a comeback at UFC 235 in March against Jorge…

What GSP says is true - Diaz would have been a stylistic nightmare, but he says that because Woodley was a bad matchup for him - GSP was hoping Diaz would come in and defeat Woodley so he could come back and reclaim his Welterweight title by LayNPrayin Diaz for another Decision win.

When GSP says it’s sad...his mind is on his legacy...he thinks it’s sad he was not able to recapture the WW title again and pad his record.

Or maybe, just maybe he thinks its sad like the rest of us do, that someone as talented as Nick fucking Diaz wasted his prime away doing cocaine and alcohol, and body slamming chicks in Vegas....

You sure he was on Coke? I don’t see Nick getting into that.

He smoked it up to much for sure and became an Alcoholic because of Ronda but coke? ...nah...I don’t think so

Woman Says Nick Diaz Choked Her in Alleged Domestic Violence Incident

Marc Raimondi of MMA Fighting reported the news Tuesday, citing a police report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's arrest of Diaz. The woman was taken to the hospital with bruised legs, reddening of the neck and head and a potentially broken hip she told police that she suffered by falling onto the corner of a pool during the alleged attack by the UFC fighter.

According to Raimondi, Diaz paid an $18,000 bond and is due in court on June 24.

The woman told police Diaz only recently started becoming violent with her after he used cocaine. She described him as an "on-again-off-again boyfriend," per Raimondi. She said the confrontation started when she found out he had sex with one of her friends.

He wasn't charged with doing coke....Cleared of 'domestic violence' doesn't mean he wasn't doing cocaine.
it was in response to this (your) post

this is why charges were dropped
“Throughout this ordeal [the alleged victim] has given multiple inconsistent versions of what occurred and recently testified before the Grand Jury to a third version,”

and you're taking her word as 100%?

She could very well have been telling the truth about their drug use, but fudging the details about exactly how her injuries came about.
Are you disputing they had an altercation and she was injured by him? Because that's not in dispute
People who do cocaine change their stories all tha time - or the coke makes them forget the details....:mask:

I'm saying that whole incident is bull shit especially because the accuser is a cokehead. she changed her story all tha time (according to someone)

You could be right but as tang @tang has made clear, we weren't there, we don't know, but what we can reasonably believe is the accuser is a proven liar.
