It’s been almost a year since Conor McGregor was last seen inside the UFC Octagon. “The Notorious” last fought at UFC 229, where he was submitted by Khabib Nurmagomedov in the fourth round.

McGregor hasn’t been as vocal about his desire for fighting as he was in the past, but for his teammate Makwan Amrikhani, the hunger to compete is definitely still there.

“I think in the end, Conor knows that it’s not the money that makes us athletes happy,” he told MMA Junkie over the weekend. “It’s that we can go there and perform, and I think he’s hungry for that.

“He knows that’s the thing that makes his life happier, and that’s the thing…

I admit I am a fanboy, but I have never been able to understand the haters who say this guy isn’t a true fighter. He was one of the most active fighters on his way to the top, he has accepted short notice fights, he is rabid about avenging losses,...the list goes on and on. He has more money than he could ever need, so he has every right to be selective. Him being selective doesn’t mean he isn’t a fighter at heart.

people are judging his character as a person, I don't really remember hearing people saying he isn't a true fighter but mostly saying that money got to his head.

here's a good video that one of Conor's fan made. It starts out by "money doesn't change people, it reveals them" which is a very true and powerful statement imo since there are people who made ton of money but didn't turn out to be a wreck

Is he all clear of the allegations against that chick?

That could create travel issues if I’m correct?

Mate, nobody questions Conor’s willingness to throw down. Just ask the senior citizen he attacked or the woman he *allegedly* raped.

Here's his last four years, in visuals.

Choked out.

Bitch slapped.

He beat Eddie Alvarez here. Good win.

Then the train wreck continued.

He rebounded by getting a decent KO of a bus.

But Khabib was friends with that bus, so he punish.

Rebounded by stomping out a fans cell phone..

Then lost a decision against a drunk old man.

It's amazing how many people think a million dollars or even one hundred million is actually that much money or that Conor will never have money issues. You can blow a mil in an afternoon if you wanted to. Let alone when you are an unstable addict and you have, God only knows how many, settlements to pay for your unwise actions. That doesn't even factor in ties with the crime world... things get very expensive, very fast when you have subterranean tastes.

Those are $1 bills, homes. No idea who this guys is, but sure hope he has more than the $50 pictured here.
Sorry. I’ll make sure all my joke gifs are factually accurate for you moving forward.

out of curiosity, has anyone read anything about whether Conor has shared his wealth around the gym?
