Fuck me, Machine Head are amazing. They're older than me, they tour pretty much 3/4 of a year for years and the only 1/4 they have off they're recruiting new guitar players and in the studio.
As a teenager, I saw Corrosion in Chicago. 1992 I think. It was right around when their album Blind had been released. I bet you'll remember this one from that album.

Can't post it (because I wasn't allowed to record it)... But I'm here at Austin City Limits setting up for weekend one... I was able to sit on stage as Thom Yorke of Radiohead fame doing his soundcheck.... I wouldn't consider myself a rabid Radiohead fan, but he was phenomenal.
Now I am heading over to the Amex stage to see Guns & Roses sound check/production rehearsal..... I'm geeking the fuck out

Have you ever been to town for Levitation Fest? It's a psych-rock festival, and I think local band The Black Angels got this event started several years back. Nov 7-10. The Black Angels are great if you ever have a chance to see them. I've seen them twice and they were both fantastic shows.
