An immeasurable lack of understanding of how foreign policy works
yea that maybe true but I'm not the one who decides which country we help out and we should abandon.
Frankly speaking after being used as a pawn for George W, I'm oppose to all wars other than super necessary, like if we get invaded or deliberately attacked by a country or an organization. What I've experienced was horseshit. I've been there during the one of the worst times of Iraq in 2004. I have friends who lost limbs, who was shot in the stomach that has to shit through a tube for rest of his life, who lost their reproductive organs, ones who missed their first child being born and got killed so that his family has to live without husband and father, changed My life forever, long story short, when I was deployed, I didn't know the reason behind risking my life for... it was over some foreign policy? which now I look back is just a horseshit.
All of you can spill out your opinions on the matter but honestly, unless you have served and been used as some disposable footsoldier, nobody really has any room to talk about sending US troops wherever. It doesn't matter 10,000 or even just 1, because all of them were someone's son or daughter, someone's husband or wife, someone's father or mother, some dog's owner, someone with a great promise, someone who's a total loser, but all a life.
so fuck foreign policy and bring our troops home.
