But he lost in May this year, which is not long ago......."Houston's Gerrit Cole is in a slump. He got a one-two-three inning in the third, but he didn't strike out anybody. If that seems like a flip observation, consider this: According to ESPN Stats & Info, that snapped a streak of 73 straight innings in which Cole had a least one strikeout. SEVENTY-THREE! The streak dated back to Aug. 1.

Did you see A-Rod and big Papi talking about it on fox sports or is this talk everywhere?.they caught signs (which I don’t agree with) but the rays caught onto something
I haven’t seen that yet, but if cheating is part of the game, will stop watching it......it’s such a pussy move imoDid you see A-Rod and big Papi talking about it on fox sports or is this talk everywhere?
They made it sound like it's standard pro behavior.
They literally said "it's not cheating ". They were talking about players picking it up themselves at the field and communicating to each other.I haven’t seen that yet, but if cheating is part of the game, will stop watching it......it’s such a pussy move imo
Teams constantly change them for fear of having their signs figured out/stolen by other teams. Also with players constantly switching teams I'm sure it's necessaryThey literally said "it's not cheating ". They were talking about players picking it up themselves at the field and communicating to each other.
Good call broTampa has the momentum but I think Houston gets it done tonight
It’s just stupid imoThey literally said "it's not cheating ". They were talking about players picking it up themselves at the field and communicating to each other.
If it's the same thing I saw, it was about the pitcher tipping his pitches. That is 100% common practice and something I used to be very good at. A subtle difference in a windup or delivery can let you know a second or two ahead of time what pitch is coming. Even a difference in the arm angle slot in the delivery can help a ton. And if that's discovered during a game, you can guarantee that info will be shared. They literally said "it's not cheating ". They were talking about players picking it up themselves at the field and communicating to each other.
Kershaw put all he had into that one batter he struck out. It sounds goofy, but the adrenaline he had after he struck that dude out left him with very little afterwards.Fickle dodgers fans
Ridiculous, the guy is one of the best and they would all be waving their towels if he shut them down and praising him as the greatest of all time......shit is wrong and shows that the dodgers have very few real fans

Agree, not a reliever, but fuck those fans.....it’s wrong to treat your golden goose like that just because he failed to give you the egg and shit happens......nobody is perfect and he’s been nothing but the best to them.....regardless of World Series win or notKershaw put all he had into that one batter he struck out. It sounds goofy, but the adrenaline he had after he struck that dude out left him with very little afterwards.
20/20 hindsight and all that, but I don't know if it was the best decision to send him back out there. Especially for someone who isn't a relief pitcher by trade.
As for the Dodger fans shitting on him? Not surprised. Fan is short for fanatical.
I was listening to MLB Network this morning. Glasnow was tipping his pitches by the way he held his glove at the stretch. They literally said "it's not cheating ". They were talking about players picking it up themselves at the field and communicating to each other.
There's a post around here somewhere where I almost started a riot at a kids game because I caught a tell off of a pitcher and told the other team about it. LMAO.I was listening ro MLB Network this morning. Glasnow was tipping his pitches by the way he held his glove at the stretch.
If he held it up by his chest - fastball
If he held it about 5 or 6 inches lower - curve
Props to the Astros (prob just one guy caught it) for picking up on that, but that's a huge blunder by the Rays for not knowing he had a tell.
I just watched highlights of the game. Knowing what to look for, I was able to call every pitch before Glasnow threw it. And I'm just a scrub. It's a pretty bad tell.A-Rod and Big Papi were talking about Glasnow tipping. The post I quoted read "caught signs " so maybe I gave the wrong impression.
I liked how they treated it as just business no drama. and I didn't know A-Rod was the most charming guy on earth I don't think I 'd ever heard him talk before. He could talk me into letting him have my wife for a month and make me feel good about it.
They scored all their runs against the braves in game 5The Cards look good through 6.
My dad lives in Tampa and always supports the home team (formerly a Baltimore orioles fan when he lived there....born and bred) and I forwarded this on to him and he said thanks so much as all the sports talk radio talked about him tipping his pitches but gave no detail (probably because they had fuck all idea and were riding the wave of “knowing that he tipped his pitches, you wouldn’t understand, but believe me, I need to provide no detail as you wouldn’t understand” as I’m a radio personality and know more than you) and he said that video gave him insight and he said “wow”, that’s very insightfulHere you go. Jomboy breaks it down pretty good.

He's a good follow on YouTube btw.
They got Scherzer in his hometown and it didnt go so well this time. They beat him in St Louis a few weeks ago. I was hoping for a repeat performance. I was dissappointed1 hit for the Cards last night. And that was against Sanchez.
They get Scherzer this afternoon. Have fun with that.
