people get real mad when they see someone who doesn't vote.

That one little piece of paper in the box holds a lot of psychological/emotional weight, respectively

Am I completely retarded for not voting?
I would say it depends on your comfort level with having a trust fund Whistler ski bum/fired for sexual misconduct with his students drama teacher traipsing around the globe in ethnic costume representing Canada. If you're okay with it personally, if it doesn't make you want to drive downtown and beat the shit out of a hobo every time you see him, then your point stands.

yeah that's pretty much me too.

Sadly more to myself these days than out loud. I really honestly can't see it as just a big trick/lie. Like watching the news. Not gonna bow down and kiss the king's feet and make me think I'm in charge. People get really mad though lol its pretty much blasphemy at least here in Ontario.

Juistin Trudeau could potentially rule Canada for the next forty years. My prediction is I never love to see another prime minister besides Trudeau. It's Trudeau for the rest of my life. No matter what transpires while he's in office/.

James Corbett put it nicely on a clip I was watching the other day:

(paraphrasing)

He said in ancient times, those who wished/attempted to rule over others would convince them that they were Gods (Egyptian Pharaohs, etc). Actual living gods. Then when the people started to question that and stop believing it, they had to switch their tune. So instead of saying they were themselves actual gods, now they just said that they were 'CHOSEN by God', - Divine Right to Rule (Kings/Queens/Emperors etc).

Then when the people started to question that and not believe it anymore, those wanting/attempting to rule over others had to switch their pitch again, this time taking one step down but still somewhere between man and god in religious hierarchies.

Now recently, with people becoming less and less religious and not believing in that... in fact tired of all these concepts of rulers, dictators, etc... they had to flip the propaganda again. So now they pitch it to us as if the power is in OUR hands... we get to CHOOSE who rules over us, and if we don't like it we can change for a different person to rule over us. yet all we are changing is the name and the face of the person representing those who rule over us, and that never changes.

I wonder what they will have to switch to when people start to not believe that anymore? lol I honestly can't imagine

I don't normally drink jason73 @jason73 but I'm off to the liquor store for this one. I just saw on CTV that they have already got Dauphin up 6-0. I want to strangle him with my bare hands.
