Flank steak is one of my favorites if cooked properly. Kosher salt, cracked black pepper and Montreal steak seasoning on both sides. Get the Weber up to 450 deg, sear and cook both sides for 4-5 minutes, until internal temp is 137-138 degrees.I have some flank steak that I'm going to use for tacos.. But I picked up some porterhouses too
What does it look like when you cook it?Flank steak is one of my favorites if cooked properly. Kosher salt, cracked black pepper and Montreal steak seasoning on both sides. Get the Weber up to 450 deg, sear and cook both sides for 4-5 minutes, until internal temp is 137-138 degrees.
That's just how I like it. Anymore rare than that, and it's a no-go lol. That's overcooked for me hahaha
I can still eat it at your range but I pull at about 128ish and let the carry over raise it up a little bit while it rests. That's just how I like it. Anymore rare than that, and it's a no-go lol.
I wonder how many submission wins Rencountre has by Indian burn.
Yeah, I pull it at 137 and let it rest for 10 min to get that. If you pull at 128, it's bleeding.I can still eat it at your range but I pull at about 128ish and let the carry over raise it up a little bit while it rests.
nice. My vote would go to the porterhouses. I haven’t had a good steak in a while, sounds good.I have some flank steak that I'm going to use for tacos.. But I picked up some porterhouses too
