You askin me, or yuki2054 @yuki2054 ?

I've made a whole pitch website with artwork and everything, I wanna share with the MMAC but mofos might find my secret identity :grimacing:

Its a martial arts/fantasy/drama about 2 styles of fighting based on yin and yang; a young girl and her parents discovering one style, and a 100-year old master wielding the other.

Its a trilogy, spanning 3 lifetimes/incarnations. The girl and her family have lives in Japan, Canada, and Brazil, while the 100-year old master keeps living and follows them from life to life. They all eventually go back to Japan where it started for the climax of part 3

I wanna hear Yuki's pitch!
Well my new book is about this young man (Jojo), who finds himself caught by a honey trap operation set up by the 5.0 and in desperation, under the spotlight, forced to confess his crimes.

The book is part autobiography, part science fiction. His best friend is another young man, a couple of years older than him, called Ren. Although he hasn't made anything more than a cameo appearance so far.

There is a chapter on sleep, how when I fell in to a coma after my road traffic accident, I never fully woke up. A chapter on chess, a chapter on computer games... and more than one reference to the numerous hospitals, he has lived in, over the years.

I talk about how eventually, they used to cook him Michelin gourmet food. And how at night, when all of the other patients had gone to bed, he was sometimes allowed to take charge, and sit at the nurses station!

That part is true at least.

I find it hard to completely encapsulate the whole book, in the space of a few paragraphs. But come back to me in six/twelve months, when I should have in finished, and I will be sure to post you a copy?

(Then you can post an unbiased review for the TMMAC martial art book club).

Does that sound like a good plan? I want Splinty @Splinty to do a review as well!

I'm also happy to share my scripts with anyone who wants to read.

I gave up a long time ago trying to get people to read a whole script, not a reasonable favor to expect from busy folk. But always happy to share if someone actually wants to sit down for a couple hours and read it. A good screenplay should read about the same pace as a real movie. Should take 90-100 minutes to get through.

I'm useless reading scripts, they're painful.
