The moment someone begins a climate change rant, all I do is count the minutes they do not, mention the NEED, to eat the babies.
After 10 minutes I completely tune them out.

It's relatively common to see PMs get abused and it's probably Australian culture's most redeeming quality - the healthy lack of respect for authority. It's not just bogans - we just don't really give a fuck about our PMs.

Average Americans don't realize how obsequious they are, and that they treat high-profile government members as if they are the aristocracy, despite all of the far more extreme anti-government rhetoric. You somehow are more deferential to power than even the English. It's fucking weird.

Yeah I can't stand Trump but if I saw him that close I would probably shake his hand and say "thank you for visiting my town, Mr President"

Him going to Hawaii while the country was burning was pretty god damn funny
Very bad politics, but if people were a bit more rational, that actually wouldn't be that big a deal. These are the worst bushfires ever in scope but not in lives lost and we do get them every year. An acting PM could act on the same advice.

But the craziest fucking thing he has done is initially be militantly opposed to any financial support for volunteer firefighters (pissing off everyone, even conservatives) and then rolling out a scheme that only applied to the largest state, pissing everyone off in the other states.

Unlike Republicans, conservatives down here actually believe that free market, austerity, 'balanced budget' nonsense. They've never figured out that Republicans just say that shit but aren't dumb enough to actually implement it when in power.

Morrison is just a genuine retard, irrespective of partisanship. His supporters are starting to realize it.

I dont take advice from some little girl who can't even drive a fucking SUV. Be old enough to buy cold medicine and then I'll try to understand what your saying
