i'm telling you that I don't trust that this was measured and proportionate, based on the administration's historical trustworthiness and their failure to share their intelligence with anyone. The situation with Iran is delicate, and when they say to trust them that responding to the burning of a guard shack by making a Soleimani a martyr was the right thing to do...I'm really skeptical.

No, worries anyone can play. As far as I can tell, his options were 1) "Kill the guy claiming responsiblity." 2) Nothing. Given those 2 options, I'd pick Option 1. What I'm generally finding is people saying "They should have gone with Option 3!!!" but then not offering any sort of solution as to what Option 3 would have been.
