time to get a permanent job love, she's almost 37 yrs old and has only fought 3 times since TUF in 2014

1 fight in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

2x TKO losses to Joanna and Andrade which is reasonable but then a decision loss to Danielle Taylor ffs

Ignorance is a shitty defence when the information is so easily available.

I do think the ridiculous costs of getting your stuff tested is unfair but what is the solution, UFC stumping up the cash? works fine until people cheat and use the UFC to get them out of it like Jones and Lesnar did, and is Jessice Penne worth 30k? IMO no she isn't.

The problem is she's American.

You dipshits grow up taking pills all the time to boost your weak immune systems. By the time you reach adult age you are dependent on pills. In England we don't take shit.

How many English fighters have been popped by usada?

Brad Scott is on the list too SongExotic2 @Shang Tsong2
I forgot about Brad. He seemed like the whole MMA thing was his gateway to having a social circle to me tho, I wasn't overly surprised when he popped hot as I can imagine him wanting to keep the run going as long as he could by whatever means

Do we know how many Picograms she had in her system? Maybe she’s just pulsing and should be allowed to fight.

It's fucked up, she's a good person by all accounts. It sucks with a sport so young, and testing so inefficient, and rules malleable that it allows certain favored fighters to fight, that a person can basically lose their whole career and livelihood off of a USADA decision.

Is it easily available though? It seems that by in large part every fighter gets a different set of rules applied to them. In the case of Josh Barnett USADA actively tried to sabotage him.

Usada ain't shit. I hold the world record pinking on this site and I never got told why or apologized or admitted guilt. 60 days
No warning

No charge

No admission of guilt.

Just on the whim of the staff here.

At least USADA would pink me while investigating me on false charges or something.

WADA, the WADA code and the USADA enforcement wing have proven themselves to be so arbitrary, incompetent, scientifically bankrupt and downright corrupt in their actions that there's just no point in doing detailed analyses of every doping case.

It's like looking at the details of a show trial involving political prisoners in a banana republic. Maybe one of the prisoners was actually conspiring against Dear Leader but that doesn't mean you take the process seriously.

When USADA spends 2 years getting results back and then tells somone they're cleared, but plead guilty anyways, there's a major fucking problem.
but she specifically took something on the banned list, I don't see what any other case has to do with that. On top of that Stanozolol has been on the banned list far longer than USADA have been around, Ben Johnson failed a test for it in 1988 :D plus Chris Leben, Tim Sylvia and even Cristiane Justino all popped for it.

Neil Magny was a victim of sorts too yet Nate Diaz got an overnight pass for the same thing that kept Magny out for 6 months, it is an evolving system that is affected by money as most unfortunately are, but it's still better than trusting the fighters clearly.

Bro, do you even pulse?
Not defending it but Jones WAS suspended and got it reduced by giving USADA "substantial assistance" and continuing to do so

Per the decision document, the “substantial assistance” is in reference to article 10.6.1.1 in the UFC anti-doping policy, which has to do with a fighter helping USADA or another anti-doping organization with “discovering or bringing forward an Anti-Doping Policy Violation” by another person or something else that “results in a criminal or disciplinary body discovering or bringing forward a criminal offense or the breach of professional rules committed” by another person (h/t @dimspace). If Jones no longer cooperates, he runs the risk of getting time tacked on to his suspension, per the UFC anti-doping policy.

When you have an extensive list of pre approved supplements at your disposal but decide to go with a something that isn’t on the list, you need to be willing to take the consequences.

I wholeheartedly agree that it’s vividly apparent there is a correlation between how much money you are worth to the company and how they wag the dog with your test results but if anyone who has watched mma for the last 20 years honestly believes that this shit isn’t corrupt... you seriously need to reevaluate your life.

i don't recall a criminal or disciplinary body bringing forward any case which would justify such a dramatic reduction in sentence.

so? they aren't obligated to make any announcements and it could still be an ongoing investigation.

they don't need to post on twitter that some criminal has been arrested or charged :D
