sleeping pills are shit and dont work. Benzos (xanax) is for anxiety and it is supposed to make you feel calm. It is addictive as fuck but it works
I was only on Temazepam for a few weeks like 25 years ago and they did the trick for sleep really nicely.

My aunt and my mil both took xanax at different times and I noticed the same thing. They were a little loopy during the day. They couldn't focus as much and they seemed to just tune out life for a while, and accept ditziness as part of their identity. Idk if that is anyone else's experience. Was glad when they each moved on from that though. But I guess it works for some people, or is the lesser evil.

I don't think this is true. I have a mate who is an ex smack head and we went to the 80s weekend in skeggy butlins and he has to have his medicine every day. But we were on the piss at or before noon always
