My dad says its full of Eastern Europeans, Indians and Chinese now hahahahaha

I haven't been since 2010 but only went to Lisbon then. Last time I went to the north was 2006. Don't hate it, but just feel less Portuguese as I get older

I recline as soon as we break ground. Zero fucks given. I fully expect the person in front of me to recline also.

I've read this whole thread. The airlines gave me a seat that reclines. They gave everybody a seat that reclines except one row due air frame design. That row of one to four people should not dictate anybody else's behavior.

Nobody in this thread has convinced me that I shouldn't be using a seat feature.

Spirit airline doesn't recline any seats. I specifically do not fly them because of this (well that and they don't TSA PreCheck because they hate our troops and love ISIS).

If you're on an airplane, and the seat goes back, you should be welcome to use it. If you hate that go fly spirit

the seats are meant to recline. feel free to recline them

don't want someone reclining their seat? pay extra for seat selection and get front row. complain/boycott the airlines

the issue not the person reclining, it is the airlines. the anger is being misdirected

It doesn't piss me off as much as it used to. I now realise that in a lot of cases it's a domino effect. I used to be the person who went and apologised to the person behind me if I had to recline my seat but I don't now. If the person in front does it, then I do. Not my fault I've got stupid long legs.

Jet Blue is the only cattle class airline I've been on where the leg room is so good that if the person in front puts their seat back you still have enough room not to need to.

Tip for any frequent fliers, for a budget airline Norwegian's legroom is really decent. Loads better than Virgin, BA. Their entertainment centre's really good and while I had a falling out once with a checking in staff they're pretty nice.

the seat reclines for a reason. if you werent supposed to recline your seat it wouldnt even be an option.
They expected people to be adults about, have courtesy and all that...

"Do you mind if I recline my seat?" it's that easy.

But since people are cunts, weld these things shut. Problem solved. Reclining may give you more space, at the cost of someone else. So ask, don't be a cunt. My opinion anyways.

Flight from Barcelona to the UK a few weeks back, only a short flight, the guy in front of me and I ended up with a row to ourselves. He asked me if he could put his seats back. I appreciated the politeness but ffs he had all the armrests up and was flat out laying down. As it turned out the seats were hard wired and didn't go back anyway.

Ask someone else if it's ok to use a universally known feature of commercial airplanes?

Um yeah no
