he kept slipping up at the amount of bottles of wee being flung at him.

Ain't chancing that again, I've been lucky with the amount of festivals I've been to not being hit with any of that :D

Serves him right the prick, didn't he piss all over his fans at one of their gigs, in Brazil I think. He was always late for gigs as well and an obnoxious cunt in general.

I really don't remember what happened and if the crowd stopped throwing the bottles but he was threatening to walk off stage. Hour or so later the place was on fire...literally on fire. I don't play well with camping so I always used to hotel it so I didn't see the riot or fires kick off. Bunch of drunk metallers never worked for me if I'm trying to get shut eye.

Slash is diamond though, Slash's Snakepit and his solo stuff was great.

Fuck youre right, Trujillo was the man, don't know how I forgot him, his basslines were the best.

Good shit brother, I'd say they are still a good show alright.

Is Muir the only one left now?
Last I saw, the original drummer came back for a few shows, but Muir is the only consistent one

GnR lost me a long time ago, some great albums and Slash is still the man but I couldn't go see any version of them at this stage.
I saw GnR last year 4 times at festivals I was working (Louder than Life, 2 weeks at ACL, and Voodoo Music Festival). Honestly, they were incredible, they seemed to be having fun, and had a great rapport on stage with each other. Axl sounded great (obviously lost some of his power, but still had range)... Slash and Duff are still two of the greatest, and the rest of the band was incredible (love that hottie Asian keyboard player they have).

I saw them when they first reunited a few years back, and wasn't as impressed, but last year they floored me all four times.

Banjax is an Irish term meaning "to right royally fuck up", I joined a forum shortly after hearing it for the first time and chose a slightly modified version as my username.

It seemed like a good match for the way I've lived my life :D

I was wondering were you Irish when I saw your screen name.

Banjaxed is just fucked, broken, usually used to say you're tired.

Soup is derived from Seinfeld's Soup Nazi and it's my real life nickname.
Someone here told me about the soup Nazi story, it's probably the only thing I've ever found funny about Seinfeld...I just couldn't get on with it.

Slash is great with Myles Kennedy and the conspirators, but I'm gonna have to disagree with you on slash's snakepit. That shit was hot garbage

Been years since I listened to it, maybe it hasn't stood the test of time.

Same festival I was mentioning here I saw him with Myles. Great voice, I just can't get over the Creed connection for some reason so I never really go out of my way to listen to him.

Yeah he has a great voice for rock. I never got the hype for Alter Bridge, maybe its just not my type of music.

It does mean fucked up as well, banjaxed has a few uses, it comes from banjoed which again means broken, ruined.

You got it right man, just when you say it about yourself it usually means you're wrecked tired.

I've lived in Japan for several years.

Otaku first means house or home in Japanese.

With time, however, the word was used to designate the nerds/ geeks/compulsive collectionners because, whenever they'd congregate, they'd ask how 'home' was going, meaning how their collection/hobby was evolving.

Some of the collections would be : vintage porn mags, creepy satanic dolls, old stamps and coins you name it.

I went to a bunch of their expos, they were the pioneers wayyyyy before comicon and always enjoyed it.
