honestly up to two days ago.. most people didn't even notice there was a virus going around the world.. i had been low key stocking up on water, toilet paper, n95 masks, hand sanitizer, food, ect ect.. once it was announced that a local woman from solano county was mysteriously infected (thanks alot travis afb) by late thursday and today (friday) shit load of supplies have been sold out all the local and big box stores around here in stockton/lodi. i have enough but i feel like i should have more long term wise. travis afb and solano county is a gateway to the greater bay area, north bay, sacramento region and the central valley.. due to incompetence on the local and federal govt.. medical staff took care of the infected cruise ship passengers without proper training and medical gear.. now we have as in china and other countries super spreaders wandering around freely.. infecting other people and so forth.. all those infected cruise ship passengers and anyone from any country should not be allowed into and back into the usa without a proper 2-3 month quarantine.. why we are not treating this like 9/11 with travel restrictions immediately in place and absolutely securing our borders regardless of the number of americans caught outside of our borders is beyond comprehension
Couldn't agree more, which is why I don't think this situation is "above board", just as 9/11 wasn't.
I personally have called family meetings stocked up, we had the first case in the U.S. in my hometown, now at least two more today...it's a no-brainer.
People have been looking at me crazy for wearing a mask if I go out, as well as my daughter, but I told her "don't worry", you'll see alot more next week.
Her co-workers are racist and call her names being the only "stupid white girl" now rip on her for wearing a mask.
I'm so proud of her right now.
Last night she sanitized the house with pride.
But I agree with you. Anyone who's
really been paying attention from the beginning knows how contagious it is, and how little we really know.
Letting anyone out of quarantine is maddening.
