It’s a kids game and they broke an unwritten rule.

Admiring a HR in the box is violating an unwritten rule. As is walking across the mound after making an out. As is bunting to break up a no hitter.

Actively using technology to tip pitches to the batter is a huge violation of the rules.

If the *'s figured out the pitch signs by having a dude on 2nd seeing what the catcher was throwing down and he relayed that to the batter in real time - I have zero issue with it. That's gamemanship.

But don't sugarcoat the situation. They fucking cheated and they benefited from it - otherwise why would they do it?

Whataburger is so much better than In and Out. Bigger burgers and imo better tasting, and a much wider variety of options to choose from.

My nephew got invited to be the batboy for the Minnesota Twins today and one of the bench coaches was talking to him and asked his name and he has the same first name as Rocco Baldelli so the coach grabbed Baldelli and he walked over and had a chat with him and then at the end they shook hands the modern way, fist bump....he said the players were cool to him also

That's cool. My son's name is Rocco. He didn't have as cool a story as your though. But last weekend he got a free ice cream b/c they were having a one day special "eat free" if your first name is Rocco, so there's that.

On a side note, I watched both bullpens warming up and one of the orioles pitchers had a helluva a curve. I was in between him and the catcher about 5 feet away and that curve was just plain unfair as he had that bastard waist high looking like a nice, juicy fastball and it dropped off the table....may have been a sinker for all I know, but how the fuck do you lay off something at that speed when it looked like a great pitch to hit until about 3/4’s of the way there......
