It runs off a 6 amp 80v battery. I have 2 smaller 2.5 amp ones if I need them.Don't run over the extension cord.

There's a Tesla in the parking garage here. As you may know, I hate Elon musk, but I did catch myself telling my friend the other day that if they made a V8 Tesla that did the same numbers I'd get oneUsed my neighbors this week and was surprised by its performance. I find them good listeners. What else am I going to do with them?
Nice, I've gone full Kobalt 80v. I have a corner lot and edging is a pain in the ass with the weedeater so I really need to pick up the dedicated edger they came out with. Then the chainsaw. Right now I have the hedge trimmer, weedeater, leaf blower, and mower. I picked up the blower first and was very impressed and then grabbed the other tools.About 2 years ago I bought a battery-powered one from Ego. With the commiefornia rebate and the turn-in of my old (non-functional) gas mower, it cost me less than $100. With a 5ah battery to boot. I have several other tools from them as well, because with my spinal stenosis, pull-starting anything is just not happening. I didn't hold out much hope that it would be very useful.
It was mostly for the wife, because she insisted on helping with our 1/2 acre property. But it's been a god-send when I've forgotten to get gas for the Honda mower and the grass is getting woolley. And damned if one battery charge will do nearly the entire property, too. Surprised the hell out of me.
Ego tools are top-notch. 5 year warranty on the tool, 3 years on the battery. Going on 4 years on the old batteries and not one single problem.
.
I fired them years ago when they ran over my fucking elephant ears with a lawn mowerWhat did you buy to defend against Mexican retaliation?
Yeah, for me it's the mower, line trimmer, hedge trimmer, blower and chainsaw. Started with the line trimmer. It wowed me and I just kept adding tools. Some "tool only" buys as well. The build quality is quite impressive on these things too. Best in class power/runtimes for their batteries even at only 56v. Tried the Echo stuff, it was hot garbage. Ryobi seems, I don't know...disposable?Nice, I've gone full Kobalt 80v.
