Part 1 was uploaded to YouTube a few days ago. Part 2 releases tonight on Vice TV. It's the story as told by the people closest to him. The first part includes an interview where Chavo Guerrero talks about finding his uncle Eddie face down in his hotel room, moments from death. Very intense.

Part 1 was amazing about to watch part 2....felt really bad for the oldest son having to discuss / relive those memories.

What do you think IschKabibble @IschKabibble, you familiar with the Kevin Sullivan Conspiracy?

Part 1 made Chris look like he fell into deep depression after Eddies death and just snapped

I’ve seen this in my recommendations, I’m gonna check it out. I haven’t watched any big time wrestling since the WrestleMania that Butterbean flatlined Bart Gunn, but I love those shoot interviews in YouTube. The backstage drama is incredible TV.

The wwe network has a bunch of really good documentaries and shows that ignore all the bullshit. Just tell it how it is. Fascinating business. I've been subscribed to that shit for years and I don't even watch raw, smack down or paperviews. Definitely worth a free trial to see them

Nice. I just watched Beyond the Mat for the first time last week.
I love the Honky Tonk Man’s shoot interviews. He’s a national treasure. I don’t know what it is, but the lifestyle of those wrestlers from years back are really interesting and I like it when their peers talk shit.

I made a thread about broken skull sessions other day. It's basically stone cold interviews someone for an hour while they have a few beers.

They talk all kinds of stuff. There's no kayfabe. Just telling stories about Thier matches together, spots they fucked up etc. Great podcast. (I think it's a podcast. just two people sat talking. I'm not certain what a podcast is)

Agree with this 100%, with the WWE Network you actually get your moneys worth - it's not like UFC or ESPN where you are blasted with non stop bullshit and ads.....

typically sign up for a couple months - dig deep into the archives and watch a lot of the late 80's early 90's stuff along with their documentaries like WCW Vs WWF Ratings Wars ....

After that I unsubscribe for a couple months - take a break - then when I start getting that itch I sign back up.

Beyond the mat was awesome. WWE now realize this and said fuck the pretend. They have 30 hrs of documentaries of that same shit.

I love wrestling documentaries. Not a fan of wrestling itself, but the backstage stories are awesome.

I'm too lazy to unsubscribe, but I routinely find myself watching shit on there. ECW documentaries are great. And very revealing. I lapped up anything and everything ECW as a kid. I couldn't get it on TV tho so it meant I'd get a dvd or two a year when I could afford it. Learning shit like Tommy dreamer, the Hulk Hogan of ECW, was working second jobs selling t shirts on the hotline, makes you realize how hard these guys had it

I’m intrigued. Thanks for the heads up, I never would’ve thought the WWF would pull back the curtain like that.

Yeah it's pretty nuts to hear what all those guys did in order to thrive as a business going up against the WWF/WCW ....

I was a big ECW mark as well, had a huge collection of VHS tapes.

the eddie guerrero stuff was new I didn't know he was doing that many drugs.
I remember going to college and walking thru the mall, there was a huge crowd outside some store in there, he was doing a book signing.

I saw him wrestle Brock couple years before. Got scalper tickets on was in and was about 3 rows back. Great show.

I read that they showed him in a better light than what his life was, and I am not going to watch it as I have seen enough of him.
Tbh I always thought of new jack as a massive cunt. And I can honestly say, that after watching that documentary, I can openly admit I was right.

I didn’t realize this was a whole series. Good stuff so far. I’m watching the one about the Brawl for it All. These motherfuckers beat the shit out of each other for a chance to fight Butterbean. Holy Shit! Hallelujah!

Yup. I've really been enjoying these. This one probably won't last either...
