Shit loads of people gonna be unemployed, businesses closing. The government's chump-change handouts to each family is going to run out real quick and spending will all but stop.

That’s what I think as well. I mean, we’re at the tip of the iceberg in terms of cases and deaths. I have to think once we start seeing the death tolls rise and hospitals overrun, that the market is going to respond negatively. Then add in Q1 earning reports the 3rd week of April, and jobs numbers likely tanking...

Think what we’re seeing now is Investors riding a wave, but the shit will hit the fan over the next 4 weeks. I’m sitting on the sidelines until we see the market pull back again. I may miss out but I made 40% on my initial investment in 3 days, so I’m good for the moment.

I expect hospitality and energy to take another dive.
I have quite a few alerts set for record low numbers.

Yeah, I'm not buying. Just one on my watchlist. However, I do think I'm going to dip my toe in a bit today on 10 shares of W (wayfair). My company does a lot of business with them, and they continue to expand their distribution network.

Man, that health crisis might just go on for some time.

I have come up with another calculation, which I really do not like:

There's a real danger that, no matter how well I invest the money I had saved up specifically for a crash like this one, the money I lose from not working due to lockdown will more or less be the same amount. Joke's on me for taking the first Quarter off working and now I can't get a new host-organism *cough* I mean client because of the situation and have to sit on my ass

Hopefully I can get some voluntary work in picking strawberries on a field or something like that

EDIT: didn't mean to talk about myself, I rather meant it as an example that although this is i great chance to earn with investing, the whole Gestalt of the situation situa can leave you with plus minus zero

A lot of the bad news is baked in, but we'll see some downward pressure. I think we'll test 20k again before this is over.
