That's not what I'm saying. It's an indirect relationship. It's not like it's a linear equation of 'Trump says X so horny teenagers do Y', but if Trump was freaking the fuck out screaming 'We're all going to Die!' from an early stage and there was an earlier push for social distancing , it would have filtered down to parents and then to their horny teenagers sooner too. In a climate where the President doesn't think something is a big deal, stupid teenagers aren't going to think it's a big deal either.
This is my worst fear at the moment as well. What if I get sick and my wife or mom can't come to see me?! Or any other variation of said situation. It's terrible, people are dying alone essentially which is super sad.
