I called the owner of my company a cutie pie the other day. We had a good laugh because it made him realize he was being a bit of a tard because he's so stressed about the business and was making up extra shit to get upset about.

Why are you? Something to do with being a pilot?
I don't know if they'll look at the gigantic tattoo I got done in Thailand a few months ago or not but I'll be there Thursday anyway.
Because I have had unprotected sex with her. It’s on the questionnaire and those specific countries are singled out. I mean I could lie, but I’m not going to.

How? We're only testing the most sick people. Here if you aren't spiked fever, dry cough and difficulty breathing, you can't be tested.
I was only talking about the number of deaths because everybody is talking about how we're over counting the number of deaths. We aren't and those same people are going to lose their minds when New York numbers actually catch up to the uncounted dead.

I have said nothing about the mortality rate.

I'm thinking big picture, Doc. The Too swole to control @Too swole to control 's of the world are going to have a good laugh at us if this ends up being a .01% mortality rate.

Booked in for Thursday morning. Virginia must be stockpiling a LOT of blood.
The blood donation centers have to space their donations much further apart than usual. The blood center here usually has half a dozen people or so donating at a time at the main center, and 4-6 at the mobile donation RV’s (they have 6 I think). Now they are one at a time in the RV’s only by appointment (no more parking at a megachruch and getting 100 donations on a Sunday). Even though procedures are way down, limited blood product availability was a huge factor in delaying pediatric cardiac procedures still last week.

and husband looked up and apparently i can't donate within 12 months of some treatment I've had recently so I've had to cancel.

Damn. I was hardly looking forward to it but I've had so much blood taken out of me recently anyway it was hardly a massive issue.

Sounds like I might be getting my hands on some of those five minute point of care antibody tests.

I'll have to do some reading to know how it works and sensitivity and specificity. But it is antibody based and positives are back in 5 minutes or less.

This is really useful for point of care testing in smaller Outpost.

Large batches can be run on big machines and a much faster time. It will take longer to get back a single test as the machine might take an hour to run. But those bigger machines might be able to run a couple hundred tests at the same time.

This test is for different flow and facility.

Wait until people realize that we are probably undercounting deaths in large urban centers by double digit percents. When those numbers get tallied up, people will double down about manipulation because that's how fake news and cognitive dissonance works.

10 times as many New Yorkers were found dead at home in the last week as usual (200+ a day instead of 20 a day). That has never happend before. Some significant portion of those are going to be coronavirus. When they get tested, they will likely be joined in more comprehensive datasets en masse for stat review.
Happened in every country heavily hit so far, why the brits had a few huge days last week and the French as well.
