very talented..only lost a couple matches in his entire NCAA career, won a couple titles. And it was Gable who inspired him. He literally modeled his workouts differently and changed his mindset because Dan Gable told him that anybody could beat anybody if they put in enough work to believe it. So he watched Gable's workouts and tried to bring that level of intensity to everything he did to prepare for wrestling...lifting, drilling, wrestling, running...all of it like Gable.
