50 bucks off Amazon. I'm a big fan of all SOG products.

I never cared for the tanto style either, but haven't really used one. What is the benefit over a clip point or drop point?

It's an excellent slicer and tip strength. An American tanto styled blade as pictured above in the trident, and below on my Cold Steel is my favorite carry blade.

I bought Cold Steel tanto blades similar to that for the 4 groomsmen I had at my wedding. Nice knives, wish I had bought one for myself.

Yeah man, for $30-$35 I haven't found a better folder for day to day carry without worry about losing it or damaging it. The tri-ad lock is the best in the business imo. Once upon a time I was a knife snob, and carried folders in the $150-$300 range and think back about what a waste that was. You should grab one off Amazon or Ebay if you need a new folder...you won't regret it.

I'm not at all a knife snob, but I got a good deal on a Spyderco Police about a year ago, and haven't even thought about carrying anything since.

Excellent knife! I've owned a shit ton of Syderco's including a full serated stainless Police, Para Military folder, Lil' Temperance Leaf and my favorite fixed blade I've ever owned or held (though I never got to use it as I gave it as a gift to an old friend years ago shortly after buying it for myself) a Bob Lum Tanto...Similar to this one below

I can't believe more people don't carry the Police. I don't even notice it's there. The blade is super thin, so it holds a nice edge. I use it for anything and everything. Opening letters and packages, skinning animals, even cutting birthday cake. Can't think of a knife I've been able to use in a more versatile fashion.

Thought a bump a thread for the late great OP.

Picked up the best $10 USD blade ever.

Needed a replacement for my Smith & Wesson EDC that lasted me roughly 4 years.

Was just about to go the expensive bench made route till this caught my eye.

I like the blade shape and flat dark earth/coyote tan handle.

Has a built in flipper on the blade which was smooth as hell.

It came sharp probably a once a month touch up kinda blade.

The handle is actually textured which is hard to see in the pics.

Probably going to order a bench made Bowie with that Trump Check in the next couple weeks.

But I was happy with this lil purchase I thought I'd share.

I love my small Sebenza 21. I EDC it. I want a second folder but can't justify it. I have a backpacker from Dan that's pretty awesome. I want another necker from him, gifted my last one
