I watched Interstellar the other week. Pretty cool but confusing. Had to look up some summaries. Hoping to see The Martian soon.

I'm gonna start to chip away at the movies listed by members in the SciFi movie thread. Actually the next movie up probably gonna be Batmam Begins. My wife and I have watch the last two and I'm surprised at how much she's liked them. Batman begins IMO is the best one and she hasn't seen it yet so its due.

watched pixel last night at the dollar theater, it was pretty funny definitely worth the $1, how can you go wrong with the dollar theater? i mean even if its a shitty film , its only a $1

Fantastic Four has a good first hour, but then seems like they run out of money and try to finish the movie in 20 minutes with no plot or decent action. It was very strange.

Black Mass was okay entertainment. Nobody on mma sub forums seems to have liked it. It was ok but incomplete imo.

I watched a movie called Lucy with Scarlette Johannson. It was kind of like limitless. She basicly unlocks her full potential of the brains capability. It went a lil too far but I like Scarlett Jo.

Speaking of Scarlett johansson, I watched another one called Under the skin. It was a trippy visual experience but kind of sucky movie.

Nothing on my to watch list. Help me out.

I really wanna see Black mass

I just watched Donnie Brasco last night. Had not seen it since I was a kid. I'm on a Pacino kick. I have some cool special edition DVDs of Scarface and Carlito's Way (super under rated amazing movie) and look forward to rewatching those. it's been years. Some really great documentary stuff on these too.

Also, somehow I went my whole life without ever seeing Casino, so there's that. Then, sometime soon, I plan to watch Metropolis, the movie from 1927 or whatever. Always mean to and finally found a good subtitled copy. Will report back. Anyone else into old 20s/30s etc shit?

Fucking Pacino and De Niro, my all time favorites in just about everything they ever did. With all the work they have done, who needs anything else? The Scorsese De Niro films too.. madon. Just amazing

Man on Wire is an amazing film. Reminds me of an ex I wish I could forget tho. Regardless. Such a great doc.

I really wanna see Black mass

There was some good performances, but ultimately the movie was pretty pointless. It's just watching Whitey Bulger and his crew killing people while some FBI guy becomes complicit in the mayhem. Not a good guy in sight. No one to root for. The Departed is substantially more entertaining.
