Feel free to link me and give me a time He's throwing something
This is the best video so far and the person recording seems to take focus off the guy running and switches to the object on the ground. I could be wrong about him throwing it but it's potentionally a big piece of evidence...

That's the same video I've been working off of.
It's had it sound edited though. in the LiveLeak version the outside guy screaming is more clear in the guy in the car actually has the radio kick on near the end.
This is the first time that I've been able to hear the guy in the car clicking actually sounds like him cocking a gun.

Regardless where do you see him throwing something? I've scrolled back and forth over and over to see if something in the road is not there and then is there but as best I can tell it is not clear on the video and at least one of the objects was already there.

I edited this post because theres new info

1. The neighborhood had a string of burglaries.
2. He had a criminal record for weapons and theft.
3. He was seen leaving house under construction by a neighbor who called police moments before the shooting.
4. He was followed to make a citizens arrest. Which is legal in georgia and there was probable cause.
5. He attacked first and tried to take a gun from a legally armed citizen during a legal citizens arrest.
6. The DA refused to file charges because the men committed no crime.
7. Jogging isn't a crime, but burglary is. He wasn't out for a jog. He was out to steal more from the same neighborhood.
8. Zero evidence the men were racist. 100% proof he was a known local criminal
I guess this is where the grey zone happens. Some guys come up on you with weapons. How should one react?

If I was running from a crime I would personally either surrender or keep running. I'm not trying to catch more time fighting witnesses or cops or anyone. I'm not going to try and get armed unless I'm going all in.

If I'm innocent I keep running and call cops. If they have no gun I would fight. Arbery could have probably whipped them both if they were unarmed. They looked fat and sloppy

But I'm not fighting over a gun unless the guys in range and I'm cornered or in a tight space. I've had knife fights and I've been cut everytime even if its minor

Arbery runs to the right and the shotgun guy follows around the front of the truck leaning in and towards arbery to confront. After that arbery confronts him in unclear manner because it's blocked by the truck.

Regardless, gun guy put himself in range.
You really just gonna run down the street with two armed guys just ready to shoot you in the back?

Ahmaud Arbery Video Was Leaked by a Lawyer Who Consulted With Suspects

Karma works in mysterious ways, eh?
Safe to say without this leak, there'd be no arrest.
Based on his comments, I suspect he released it as an attempt to clear their names. The residents in that neighborhood have been getting harassed since this happened. They've filed multiple trespassing claims. They wanted the neighborhood thief to get caught. I get the sense the lawyer sympathizes with them.

I would be very interested to see those videos.
I read somewhere the guy with the videos is the same who called 911. Hes been recieving death threats for reporting a crime. They are screaming for justice while simultaneously hindering the judicial process

Hopefully it gets released and people can stop going hard with the jogging narrative.

Also he was 13 miles from home. If he ran back that's 26 miles. It's not a burglary. It's a marathon in boots

Not on the shotgun guy moving around the front of the truck, leaning in. That's a matter of fact.

The first shot occurs after this point in the video. Shotgun guy takes one more step after this frame, then the first shot is heard, then shotgun guy is backing up with Aubrey advancing. As per media, the first shot went through Aubrey hand and the DA described that as consistent with grabbing the end of the gun. The only way that Aubrey was close enough to grab that gun was because shotgun guy closed space as well.

Shotgun guy was fully on the driver side in the street prior to this. He moves to that position around the front as Aubrey runs to the right.

I appreciate your surgical dissection of the situation. No matter why this happened its still a sad loss of life that didn't need to occur, whether anyone eventually serves time for this or not. A parent is burying a child, I can't imagine what that must feel like.

So you proved my point. I appreciate that.

He only fired when the "suspected burglar" tried to disarm him while he (shooter) assumed he was acting lawfully

If they chased him down to kill him like psychotic murderers everyone claims pops in the back could have been shooting him as he ran. But he didnt. The goal was to restrain a fleeing criminal.

They tried to cut him off. He attacked. He advanced on them very quick also. It's crazy. Have some fucking accountability that you put yourself in that situation by committing crimes and then not stopping when your caught. By attacking armed men. Dumb games dumb prizes

To be fair, pops is old and fat and probably has a hard time shooting moving targets from the back of a moving pickup truck.

if I understand the timeline, it was 6 minutes from the time the 911 call said he took off running until he was shot.

5-6 minutes is a long time to be running for your life. I'd probably pull a gun in there somewhere if I had one.

and I agree with Splinty @Splinty that the killer stepped around the open door when Aubrey ran to the right of the truck. Which doesn't make sense unless Aubrey had done that before and the killer was looking to block him.
Or super-athletic white guy was going to take off on foot after him.

But for whatever reason, stepping around the front of the open door means that you're not chasing a possibly armed and violent person anymore. If you think he might be armed you stay behind the door. If you think he's going to keep running, you stay behind the door and ready to get back behind the wheel.

Nothing about the way that the shooter engaged makes me think he thought the victim was armed or dangerous.
he doesn't even keep the firearm pointed at the target when it takes off running. Doesn't seem very worried about him pulling a gun.

I would be very interested to see those videos.
I'll find the link in a little.
News called home owner with house under construction.
Homeowner video ownder refused to share video with news.
When asked if the video showed Aubrey stealing, the homeowner responded "it shows him trespassing".

The video of the "robbery" at a construction site may be nothing more than him walking up to it while walking around his neighborhood.

Given that the homeowner took the time to state that crime and not mention he was stealing, vandalizing, etc. one can infer that those other things didn't occur on that video.

We will see what comes up, but the idea that there is video of him stealing from a construction site is questionable and seems to be built on a taking the old robbery stuff plus this fact and melding them together. I've seen no confirmation that is what the video shows.

I think its all a bad shot due to escalation. But there's some legal question and some social questions that are separate. I'm mostly just interested in us at least talking the same language with the same base facts on order of events so we are both talking reality ya know?

They tried to cut him off. He attacked. He advanced on them very quick also. It's crazy.
I agree. But...I consider their cut off a threat.

by committing crimes and then not stopping when your caught
This is where we are waiting for proof.
That might change the legal definition of this case where I would be forced to agree they should go free.

I'd still want the law changed and I still think they are both super dumb asses that are going to get my guns taken away

The video can help show a pattern of crime. This wasn't a isolated incident. Just like his criminal history.
