Haha, Let Sweden Sweden
Everything is gonna be OK
Well yeah if the entire country shuts its borders.

Let the pubs stay open, they said, it will be fine they said.

The prime minister was being all "oh fuck it, it will be fine, no need to close the bars" then as everyone was falling down dead requesting foreign help. What on earth could go wrong with a bunch of drunk morons not giving a damn about social distancing. Proof's in the pudding.

/I want to see my drunk moron friends, but I'm not a twat enough to do it.

Fucking twatnuts. Leaving all the pubs open was a great idea. Clearly,
not looking to get much into but it looks like for a one week period they had an extra 1.5 deaths per million. They are still behind several other major countries for all weeks except that one. Also you have to subscribe to read the entire article so I didn’t.

“However, Sweden has only had the highest death rate over the past week, with Belgium, Spain, Italy, the UK and France, still ahead over the entire course of the pandemic.“

People are flippin idiots when they're left to their own devices. A parking monitor ran out of parking tickets at an English beach car park everyone was flocking so much...no 6ft apart etc.

I guess I’ve always thought most people were idiots. I’m just not in favor of the government profiting off people parking in a parking lot.

Killed me going in to see my mother in hospital every day when she was sick that my step dad or I had to put money in the metre. Not hugely expensive, but still the equivalent of $8ish a day. It wasn't like we were enjoying ourselves like on the beach. Not nice, is it?

So here’s a weird thing that I’ve noticed since contracting the covid. And I’d be interested if anyone else has seen this change.

To my knowledge I didn’t suffer from loss of breath. I had 4 or 5 days of tiredness, feeling a bit weird and then five days of complete loss of tase and smell.

but what I have had since which I never had before is me realising I am holding my breath. It can be 30 seconds. Maybe longer. It’s completely subliminal and I don’t realise I am holding my breath till I realise I am holding my breath.

i release and it’s fine.

never had it before. I just wonder if it’s a body thing, hanging onto oxygen as it was defending itself against the corona?

anyone else had this effect after recovering?

Splinty @Splinty have you heard of this phenomenon?

So someone posted both of these together? (I refuse to believe a surgeon posted that wearing masks causes hypercapnia.)

These are basically saying that a specialized (N95) mask can't stop the corona from passing through but can stop CO2. CO2 is a gas. It would take thousands of them to make the size of a covid virus particle.

It is the internet
I just copy pasted

So indeed "Someone" posted it...impossible to tell who they are and what "credentials" they possess

I was just messing with my man, making jokes.

As for the particles...I don't think anyone is saying the mask blocks all CO2, or else the user would be dead and have nowhere to expel gases and breath. Of course inside your mask there is certainly more CO2 for you to inhale than if you were not wearing one.

I'm not anti mask FYI. I simply am not exposed to people for my job so I have no need to wear them. My state isn't requiring them and we are doing just fine in our Coronapocalypse at the moment.
