Evan Dunham is still fighting?

He must have a massive meth debt
I just remembered the massive mismatch he had with Lyoto Machida. Except when I looked it up, it said he had never fought Machida and is not even remotely in the same weight class. So then I must have been thinking of his mismatch with Barboza. But I know that Machida and Barboza are two very different people, so how did that happen?

I then realized that my brain has never distinguished between Evan Dunham and CB Dollaway. That is certainly not a compliment to either.

Ah ok this is his return fight from retirement.

He had a couple exciting fights but he either loses or wins via decision. Since his last "finish" in 2012 (a doctor stoppage lol), his record is 5-6-1.

John Lineker was 12-3 in the same time period but was released after his most recent loss. Makes sense.

The Lineker decision was baffling. He was the most exciting fighter when he was in the midget division, they had used him as a headliner twice, he was a name to use to fill Brazil cards, and the real kicker is he wasn't even really getting paid any more than a random, undercard-dwelling journeyman like Dunham. They used the missing weight issue as the excuse, but he had only missed weight once in 8 fights at bantamweight, and had 4 fights since he did it.

The problem is, the ESPN deal means the clowns at the UFC just don't have to care about anything. Roster decisions don't really have to make any sense, and that's why they often don't.

I am sorry but that is a really weak PPV main card. Since the cards are so shitty for PPV the last 3 or more years, as soon as there is an even halfway decent one, like the Tony Justin card, people act like its so stacked when that is how a normal PPV should look.

They fool folks cause you see Cody and think former champ, but his form is off lately, the fights are good fights, but they look like prelim main events, not main card for ppvs.

Just pull up cards from 5 yars ago, 8 years ago, 10 years ago and look at the quality.

I woke up thinking it was fight day. Now I’m spiralling in a huge adrenaline dump. Going to drink pedialyte and eat Cerrone Protein Packs all day and then go to bed early.
