I'm yet to get into a truck with a set where you couldn't tell what was on them just by the sound of driving at 20mph. "Man, this thing needs 2 wheels bearings. Oh, no it's just duratracs."that might explain some shit
Had a set that wore out faster than expected
Duratrac lives matterI'm yet to get into a truck with a set where you couldn't tell what was on them just by the sound of driving at 20mph. "Man, this thing needs 2 wheels bearings. Oh, no it's just duratracs."
Yea, I need good mud performance though for duck season and when we are out on the farm. That's why I went with the Duratracs, and they've done well outside of the wear. I think I'll be trying the Cooper discoverer sst next. Not sure about sticking with the 265/75r16 or going with 255/85.What kind of driving do you normally do? You're not really a bro unless you're driving a lifted Dodge Ram with duratracs.Whoaaaaaa

Do your corn fields have gumbo mud and clay mud? We have it here and it sticks to the tires real good.
Yea, it's what they call it up in Arkansas in the delta regiongumbo mud?
Tons of gray clay hereYea, it's what they call it up in Arkansas in the delta region
I've never bothered to learn extensively about mud, but I'd regard it as pretty clay-ey. Sometimes they also need to contend with snow and ice.Do your corn fields have gumbo mud and clay mud?
Interesting. I'll be tire shopping soon so I'll take that into consideration.I've never bothered to learn extensively about mud, but I'd regard it as pretty clay-ey. Sometimes they also need to contend with snow and ice.
We have red clay here and up in Arkansas the gumbo is kinda gray and like a clay and sticky dirt mix, I can't explain it too well.Tons of gray clay here
shit is crazy
Maybe try 4 different tires. Then see which one you like best and buy the matching 3 to finish the set.Interesting. I'll be tire shopping soon so I'll take that into consideration.
That's a really solid idea. I could always try my wife's tires on my truck, see if I like those.Maybe try 4 different tires. Then see which one you like best and buy the matching 3 to finish the set.
