Planted fish tanks (and monster fish but mostly planted tanks). So much so that I grabbed a 29 gallon tank at Petco on their dollar per gallon sale the other day.
I used to have cichlid and saltwater tanks. A lot of work but I love how amazing they are.

I'm subscribed to a bunch of the channels on that thread, still loving them.
Shade tree mechanic, always been fascinated with watching true experts do their thing, and consider automatic transmissions to essentially to be alien technology. It amazes me someone figured out how to make that work.

Want to try this on Some Hornady ammo I have. Got Critical Defense and Critical Duty ammo. Wonder if I should use a meat target in front and see how far it penetrates.
Critical duty and critical defense are supposed to limit penetration. The difference between the 2 is the speeds needed to fully mushroom when hitting your intended target, critical defense needs lower speeds to open up fully.
I run critical duty in my carry gun, I'd be surprised if they went through depending on the caliber.
I went through that guy's videos a while back, interesting stuff but i get the impression he's reading a lot of it on Wikipedia rather than sharing his knowledge if you see what I mean. Lots of numbers quoted without real context so that a layman like myself can understand them.
Yeah, alot of the events I already knew alot about (I have a fascination with nuclear energy and accidents and have read extensively about them) and he does leave out some interesting details but the videos give a quick overview if you don't want to sink into hours of reading. Some of the events are fascinating and most are caused by one person's half second mistake.
There's something fascinating about criticality incidents all right, I went down that rabbit hole after watching Chernobyl on HBO.
Yep, the Chernobyl HBO show was well done but if you're really interested do some reading and research about it because the TV show doesn't cover much of it. Many blame Chernobyl for a big part of the fall of the Soviet Union including Gorbachev.
I went down the Wikipedia hole, then watched a couple of in depth videos on Youtube, one about the inaccuracies and omissions in the HBO show, another going deeper into the reasons for the explosion.
It was after watching them that my Youtube recommendations became filled with other incidents.
I used to spend hours in the rabbit holes looking into conspiracies. Had to give that up. Haven't went deep into any holes for a while.
I spent about an hour looking up information and interviews from Street Outlaws a few days ago. I'm kind of hooked on that show. I know it's a scripted "reality" show, but the cars are damn nice.

I don't watch shit on YouTube. I only go there if a song pops in my head or something. I doubt I've ever watched it for more than twenty minutes in one go, apart from onefc, and the smashing machine.
