That's not what I asked. Do you think an employee should be able to quit whenever they want, for whatever reason they want?

Do you want more government than we have now or less?
Yes they should be able to quit whenever but in a lot of jobs you hold the first paycheck as insurance for not giving two weeks notice...i think thats fair

Some portions of government need to shrink and others expanded so youll have to be more specific

So if someone can quit whenever they want, disrupting the business and potentially effecting other individuals, that's OK, but a company should not be able to do the same?

Holding the first paycheck is bullshit, if someone does work, you pay them for it, irregardless of if they give notice or not.

Just like it's someone's job to manage their personal finances and be prepared to be without income coming in for a period of time.

Have you tried speaking out against Union things you disagree with?
The local unions ive been a part of have focused on contractual issues and things like abortion, free speech, taxes etc are not relevant to pay raises, discipline, time off and such

Yes the national leadership gets involved in such things but i dont believe in throwing the baby out with the bathwater

Not sure what the proper WWF name is, but I would have ran at him in a full sprint and wrapped my arm around his neck and slammed him backwards on the floor. How 'bout dat.

Its not an issue on the local level

Im advocating a nationalized union with local chapters for all workers that focuses on job related problems and leaves periphery issues to general elections

I find that to be insane.
