The Escalating Terrorism Problem in the United States
The United States faces a growing terrorism problem that will likely worsen over the next year. Based on a CSIS data set of terrorist incidents, the most significant threat likely comes from white supremacists, though anarchists and religious extremists inspired by the Islamic State and al-Qaeda could present a potential threat as well. Over the rest of 2020, the terrorist threat in the United States will likely rise based on several factors, including the November 2020 presidential election.
Our data suggest that right-wing extremists pose the most significant terrorism threat to the United States, based on annual terrorist events and fatalities.

Amazes me that "journalists" constantly propagate fear of white supremacists terrorizing America, when I've never seen a "white supremacist" movement.
Yet I can flick on my Twitter feed and see cities on fire across the nation with death and mayhem in the streets attributed to the reaction to it.

It's almost....manufactured.

So what's going to happen next?

White supremacist groups.
Because you just turned America into a prison.

Yeah, the people who published that are a think tank.
Well they're either not very smart, or talking out of their asses.
They cited "800+ right wing plots in 2020" was it?
I've seen that many leftists plots today.

I particularly enjoyed their piece on "one-of-a-kind" central digital currency.
Maybe they're unaware that the entire planet has had this in the works since bitcoin was invented.
Or that the U.S. currently has congressional and Senate bills for our digi-dollar.

I should join a think tank apparently.
And thank YOU so much for making me read that!

Hidden in Plain Sight: Racism, White Supremacy, and Far-Right Militancy in Law Enforcement
In 2017, the FBI reported that white supremacists posed a “persistent threat of lethal violence” that has produced more fatalities than any other category of domestic terrorists since 2000. footnote3_fokrb8e

Indirectly, yes. Historically, many. Let's go back to 1932...a couple of communists started a movement...

Read history books my friend, they are awesome!
I appreciate the informative answer. Seth Jones also covers the start of Antifa in the podcast I linked discussing the study.

Maybe I should have been more specific in my question... since the study covers emerging trends in America, has Antifa ever killed anyone on American soil, specifically, within the last 30 years (study timeline).

I don’t think to actually read the study.

If you did, maybe you missed the part where it stated how the groups were defined. The left wing / right wing designations have nothing to do with politics or political leanings.

A direct quote-
To be clear, terms like right-wing and left-wing terrorism do not—in any way—correspond to mainstream political parties in the United States, such as the Republican and Democratic parties, which eschew terrorism.

That quote says the designation have nothing to do with parties specifically. Terrorism by definition requires a political component.

It certainly has the potential to kill. Antifa has its agenda. Historically, antifa has lead to nothing but destruction.

But the recent trend is right extremist attacks causing death... not just the potential too.
