The lady talking is clueless. Somebody knocks a table over and glass breaks. The lady that's walking away jumps a little bit from the sound of glass breaking it starts moving quickly. This is an appropriate response to an unruly mob that has proven over and over and over to get wild at the slightest altercation. It's an uncertain situation.
The clueless lady starts talking about 'there's no need to run, no one's going to touch you, we're shutting the party down."
She's either completely clueless or intentionally obfuscating her own intimidation tactics. You show up with a mob of people yelling and screaming at people just sitting there. Then you act like the people running away have somehow made an egregious error and getting the hell out of there? There's no need to run away?
Maybe they need to re-look at their messaging if they can't understand why people would be moving away from them quickly and why such measures have people moving away from their message quickly in general.
