I dig the idea, but it looks like a series of problems waiting for a place to happen.

Chasing rattlesnakes, scaring birds, rooster tails in the sand, crabwalk, piquing the interest of a coyote, 0-60 in 3 seconds, removable roof panels, what's not to like? Oh, it's electric. Who's bringing you charge when you're out of juice in the desert? Fuck that noise. Petrol for life.

The crabwalk feature tells me it's rearend isn't up to the task of offroading. CV boots will be broken easily, I'm guessing. $115k can get a hell of a lot of upgrades on a Rubicon or prerunner.

If CV boots break it's much more indicative of GM build quality than it is an inherent problem with the feature. That being said, I've spent 0 time looking into it, but it might have a motor at each wheel and no CV's at all.

I didn't consider it might be new technology. I'm just thinking about that rearend's ability to turn the wheels, and that just doesn't seem like something that would hold up to anything other than low speed crawling (if that). I'm ignorant though and that truck does have some pretty cool features. No idea if it's functional, but I'm guessing they didn't jump it in the video for a reason.

$112,595 holy shit!

11,500 pound-feet of torque. That should be sufficient to carry your social status around!

Four wheel steering's been around since the 80's, bro.

If it's not obvious to everyone already, I'm going to hate on this truck. You can't change my mind.
