He has at least a small stutter in regular conversation and I would assume the echo is what's really tripping him up.

There were other groups there, but the majority of attendees and the vast majority of violent rioters were right wingers.

It’s not recognized as a medical term nowadays either. It has been replaced by Intellectual Disability (ID).
