I appreciate your time during this game. I know its important.
I usually just watch the superbowl.
I do get its technical. But I can't get my head around that last 2 minutes. And I can't understand how a team is allowed to slow the game by doing nothing but run the clock down.
I guess the game is all about possession.
Its very similar to American politics.
I love live sport and I appreciate the skill. And I will watch one game a year But I can see why it isnt a grab for anyone but America.

I've noticed people unfamiliar with the sport don't like this, but it's a crucial part of the game. A coach has to be wise with his 3 timeouts/clock management. If he uses all his timeouts and a team runs the clock out, that's the coach's fault.
Yeah. It's not just about ability.
The better team may lose because they cant game manage
But it lacks individual finesse.
Im really not knocking the game. it's one of the weirder sports in the global environment.
I don't think I will ever get it. And I'm a sport nut.
I've seen some amazing American football games that excited me. But I dont rate it as a game.

near the end of the two halves it becomes very much about clock management to limit the opposing teams possessions and time left to score if they do possess

There is no real flow.
I'm genuinely not knocking the sport.
But it's such a strange hybrid. Its like watching sport in 7 second chunks.
I want the flow. The. Back and forth. I mean tennis is better.

Missed the first half. Checked the score once to see that it was 9-0 Buffalo. Got a little worried. Checked again before halftime to see that it was 21-9. Oh but the Bills managed 3 points so now it's 21-12.
