Can't remember my first CD purchase since I had the mail subscription where they send you like a dozen at first, then a couple a month, or something like that.

But amongst the first are definitely these two.

Im white so this got people cracking jokes on me in the 90's when everything was grunge. But i like it all but country and classical, with Pac & saint dog being my favorite
love that tape. I blew my friends' minds when they first heard it. buddies' mom later went out & bought him a copy @ target.

CENSORED :D

and this was before they would put out alt lyrics for the censored versions. nothing but a series of 'beeps'.

what I remember the most is my buddy throwing his tape in (after wearing mine out) while we're skating, feeling badass...

"you think you can out rhyme me, yeah boy I bet, cause I ain't met a... BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP... (w)ho can do that yet."

that tape sucked. IIRC, it was my first experience with music censorship. then 'f*k censorship' comes along today & mentions that very album.

now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure I bought the thriller album @ some point. that would have to be first.

Mine wasnt censored, i bought it at camelot records where nothing was censored. I got lucky because i hate censorship!

I was also just listening to Kandy, another solid track from Bad.
