Don't you have Duratracs on your Taco?
I do, they also did awesome in the snow. I'm not worried about our vehicles and their ability in this weather. I'm worried about the guys like Splinty @Splinty who put their F150 in 4wd for the first time and think they can YEET around everywhere.

How is it with tires over there?

We are not required to use winter-tires, but if there are winter conditions and you have an accident with summer tires, the insurance will show you the big middle finger.

Most of the population doesn't reside in places where a lot of show is common. So they're not required by law, but you get an insurance discount if you have them.

That's exactly what's happening. First time in a decade.
You know what to do.

Crank that thermostat up to 80 degrees so you can get the house hot as fuck and give you a longer "cooling off" period when they shut you off.

Looking at the local news and it appears that we’re part of a rolling blackout to protect the integrity of the power grid, and “it’s taking longer than expected to fix”. It was apparently supposed to only be 45 min, but it’s been over 6 hours now and no telling when it’ll be back
It’s cold to have no heater.....sweater time!
