Lol a third of jersey people would quietly wait (that's me. Cause im in no rush).

A third would "politely" give an "excuse me. Can you please move" and then go call their friend as soon as they get to the car, text another friend, post about it on FB, and use it as a talking point when out drinking with friends

And a third would include a 4 letter word such as "get the fuck out of the way," even if it was a cute, senile old woman

I'm not too familiar with upstate NY, but in the city, over 50% chance you're gonna get snapped at for blocking the way
Lol

Yesterday or the day before a buddy of mine posted a picture of this scenario. See attached.

Would've been useful to have one of you people next to me so I could hear "WHAT'S YA PRAWBLUM!?" as the woman quickly shuffled the fuck out of the way.

Apart from being Giants fans they're pretty normal people in my experience. Don't even have your terrible accents. Definitely still homo Sapiens, unlike their NYC counterparts.

I feel bad for Bostonians though. You hear the accent and get annoyed thinking they're gonna be as rude as New Yorkers but then you start talking to them and realize they actually want to hear what you have to say and don't simply wait for their turn to speak ALL New Yorkers do.

I can remember feeling bad about rushing to judgment on people from New England. I've probably met 100x as many New Yorkers and that feeling of guilt has literally never happened once.
My parents and cousins lost their NY accent when we moved our to jersey. So my dad and cousins are down in Florida for a decade or two sounding jersey

But my uncle, former NYPD now Florida cop, has been in Florida like 30 years and him an day aunt still have the thickest NYC accent. It's hilarious going out on his mini yacht and shit. Cause he loves Florida. Its home. But he's a new york city dude through and through

The former sheriff of the second-largest county in Florida has been living here for 40 years and still sounds like he just got off the boat (or whatever mode of transport you animals use to come down here en masse):

K @kaladin stormblessed you wanna hear something really fucked? When my wife and I argue and she gets on my nerves I sometimes say "What are you TAW-KIN aBOUUT" all New Yorky.

I've never even been to NYC but it goes to show how many people from the tri-state area (specifically NYC) we have down here. The first time I heard myself saying it I cried myself to sleep that night and had PTSD for a month.

Spent a week in Chicago with some friends and they brought me to all of the local pizza spots. I never want to eat any other kind of pizza again.

They are all great. Depends on my mood on which one is best at the moment.
