If there's one thing I know about crypto it's that if you're spending small amounts of money, you need to plan to be in it for the long haul. The big swing really only benefit people who spend oodles of cash on it.

Roulette is close to 50/50 odds if you just pick a color.
i played a ton of roulette at one time .there used to always be a bunch of old dudes sitting back watching the game and keeping notes on red or black ,which was coming up more often. the board tells you but they would keep notes for hours . then they would sit down and play a few chips on red or black for an hour or so and then go home .seems pretty popular

I grew up with degenerate gamblers. Like, bet $60k on Bruins/Jets games in the early 90's and lost cars in poker games - degenerates. Watching them trying to apply logic and find patterns in things that are utterly random is almost something you could bet on.

Was there ever a problem buying snowsuits for the kids because of is gambling? Did you watch "Hidden Gems" and think "Oh, I know that guy."?

no there was never any problem . he was never around and my step dad had it under control . definitely saw other people i know from the gambling scene in hidden gems for sure . i used to work with this old greek who spent every cent he ever made betting on the 2 in roulette . guy would be taking cash advances to put it on the 2 . poor bastard lived on the food he got for free at work and would rather bet the deuce than buy groceries . every now and then he would win a couple hundred bucks and act like he won the 649 even though he spent thousands to win those hundreds
