This whole thing is a fucking clown show. A YouTube star who has never boxed a pro is boxing a retired mma star known for having the worst standup in the sport. It's a money grab but who is actually paying for this shit?

The worst part is this: Jake is gonna win by KO and then we are gonna hear all about the next potential MEGASUPERFIGHT with Jake and some other carefully picked bum (not saying Askren is a bum, but surely an amateur in boxing atleast) like KSI or Dillon Danis, then we are gonna wait 6-7 months and watch the whole thing start back up again.
The notion that kids in the future will look at Jake Paul as somewhat of an athlete even though he never competed in any combat sports or even had anything that remotely resembles a martial arts/wrestling background is fucking atrocious.
People will say "Oh yeah that Jake Paul kid, he's that guy who beats up MMA fighters, he's a star now" Dude is a complete bum with zero respect at all for the sport, I cringe everytime an MMA podcast or interview starts talking about this bum. I have tons of respect for Ben but lets face it: He has Gable hips and walks like he's been in 6 car accidents in a year, he has as much business boxing as Mike Perry has being a marriage counselor.
The saddest part of all this is the fact that we need some new gen cringe youtuber to have mainstream media draw extra attention towards combat sports, they cover this goofball more than Canelo, whos P4P the best in the world right now, not only are they hurting MMA they are hurting boxing aswell.
Call me a purist or an old man, but I liked combat sports a heck of a lot more when it was actual fighters competing
