I think it will be closer this time. Robert said he was burned out and he didnt look right in that fight and with izzy coming off a loss in think robert will be more confident and use his wrestling. I wouldnt be shocked if he beat izzy

Smart move by Whittaker. Kelvin's only chance is a hail mary punch. The TD nullifies that.

Whittaker just beat the utter piss out of a guy Izzy went to war with.
Whittaker looked very bad in that first fight. It's unlikely he'll look that bad again. The wrestling looks like it will be a threat to Israel in the 2nd, when it wasn't in the first.
Sure Israel might win again, but to outright dismiss Whittaker's chances is silly based on these performances.
His chin is unbelievable. To be able to eat these punches from MWs when he's a natural WW is absurd. We've never seen a better non-HW chin in MMA history.
I agree, Izzy can’t wrestle and just like Holland, this is a great strategy to neutralize he striking skills of Izzy. Whittaker has also become a better fighter and think he can give Izzy a run for his money. I realize the last fighter was up a weight class, but it proved that Izzy was beatable and the path to beat him.

I don't see the sense in giving Costa an immediate no. 1 contender fight. Guy hasn't won a fight in what will be close to 2 years, and got completely embarrassed by the champ. He has only a single notable win in his MW run.
Let him look good against some favourable matchups and build him back up, rather than risk completely derailing his career with back-to-back losses.
The actual no. 1 contender fight to make is Vettori vs Brunson.
