You could be right with the circus surrounding the trial, from what I saw half the witnesses were hostile and then there was the expert testimony that the defence didn’t get a chance to argue against.
There's room to bamboozle idiots (juries) in the initial trial but there's more room to pervert justice on appeal. An appeal was always the more likely route to get Chauvin off, even if you couldn't trust a jury either.

I’d agree but with the amount of pressure there to see him swing it’s got to be impossible for him to walk under any conditions.

So chauvin was willing to admit to 3rd degree murder apparently?

Lol at people hearing that then still wrestling with the idea that somehow someway he was justified in kneeling on a guys neck for 9 minutes and should be found not guilty.
