pressure is Pascals, equal to 1N/m2

metric is far superior when it comes to expressing pressure, because the units scale by orders of magnitude. convert lb/in2 to tons/acre2 or some shit.

fucking impossible. but Pascals to millibar/km2 is "divide by 10k".
bro

don't come at me with all that shit

not right now

i'm more interested in the bamboo...can I grow it in AZ?
Of course you could...do you see any on any landscapes or buildings around that area?
How hot is your part of AZ?
Will need water of course

How much does it rain there? I only water during May-September.

Lots of pics from arizona online of bamboo growing

It really just needs water and sun and toss some fertilizer on it once every year or so

Barrier(2 feet deep) for ground planting is important unless you have a clumping variety

I planted one about 12 years ago without a barrier on an open lot in town, and now I harvest 50+ foot poles that are 2 inches across.
Useful stuff.

Research published in nearly all academic journals also needs to be done in metric units, even if the research takes place in the United States.

I was waiting for someone else to acknowledge this but apparently it's not finna happen...

You should petition for the immediate introduction and use of the Robertson screw driver too. Unbelievable you people still use philips and slots for almost everything.

Is Robertson the square bit? Nobody uses that name around here, at least not that I’ve heard. Here they’re just called #1 or #2 square bits

But if it is the square bits, I love those.

I always thought Roberston was just a square?

It's tapered too??

That was my only gripe when I learned about them -- not self centering. Buuuutttt that seems like they are

nonsense.

Metric screw drivers are King. they don't even need to be magnetic to pick up and hold screws.

The square bits I have are all slightly tapered. Makes for a snug fit.

running something like 3.5 inch deck screws with an impact is so much better with the square compared to a Phillips.

Yeah we should be using them instead. The ease of self-centering is the only benefit of Phillips and I don't think it outweighs the fact that it's a bad screw for nearly all of the applications we use it.

preach it. cordless impact driver has been the biggest "how did I live without you" tool of the last 5 years for me.

I didn’t really use mine much until I replaced a fence and a deck. After running through some boxes of Deckmates, i was sold. So much easier/faster.

This isn't about it being easy.
It's about being stubborn.

It's called a square drive. Pretty common.

It’s called a Robertson and you guys don’t want to get onboard for some reason.

Patented in 1909, the square-drive screws only began appearing in U.S. specialty wood shops in the mid-1980s. American furniture, appliance and mobile-home industries use them, but the classic Canadian fastener is still virtually unknown to do-it-yourself home renovators. Home Depot reports Robertson screwdrivers account for less than 5 per cent of sales in the United States. In Canada, that figure jumps to roughly 55 per cent.
