Explain short term bonds to be like I'm retarded.
just a low risk/low yield etf. Wont yield me much but I won’t lose 10-15% of my 401k if this market continues to tank either. I’d just prefer to sit it out for the next month and see what happens with increasing inflation.

You know the original great conspiracy I heard 30 years ago was that they would cut the power - let everyone fend for themselves for some time ..lets say 3 months.. - depopulate the world ...after some time of despair they flip the lights back on and are greeted as saviors ...those that survived the ones who would never in a hundred years accept a Totalitarian New World Order now welcome it with open arms as they lost many friends and family and were on deaths door step.
