set a reminder for the 2024 national conventions, and I guarantee you Gabbard/Trump Jr is a better ticket than what The Party of Two Names is offering.

The charges by a Manhattan grand jury against the Trump Organization and its CFO Allen Weisselberg are expected to be unsealed on Thursday.

Weisselberg is expected to surrender to authorities on Thursday morning, the person said, and will be formally charged in the New York Supreme Court in Manhattan on Thursday afternoon.

That’s assuming he raised his prices as it isn’t stated he did so.
If he didn't have to raise prices to cover doubling his labor then he was being a greedy fuck to begin with. Most businesses operate on pretty tight margins.

LOL
I'm speaking of smaller, more local/regional businesses. Not your Walmarts and Amazons.
Well, while I'm sure those also exist - and even taking billionaires aside - you still have almost 40% of all millionaires in the world. While at the same time having an army of really really poor people in your country.

Your richest 1% makes 20,2% of your overall income. Which puts you into a bracket with corrupt shitholes like Russia, Thailand, Colombia, India, Iraq, UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman etc.

Second highest Western nation here is Canada with 13,6%. That is a huge gap.

Realistically, that has to come from somewhere other than tight margins and fair pay, and it can't be just Amazon and Walmart.

I don't disagree with you. But I do believe the market should dictate the regional pay rate range. If you want better workers...pay more. If you want to earn more - be a better worker and bring value to the company.

This labor shortage brought on by the pandemic and magnified by leaving the extra unemployment benny in place even after businesses were allowed to open back up likely accelerated the average wage rate for lower-income workers. Companies had to get creative to attract workers. Example: A local HVAC company is paying folks $15/hr to take classes to learn about the business. Graduates get a job as an apprentice and are well on their way to a successful, lucrative career should they choose to stick with it.

All good things. It was (and still is) an incredibly frustrating year for folks trying to hire workers - but maybe the labor market needed a shake up.

This is true and goes both ways.
In such times it's the bosses and managers who also need to look at their salaries critically. Because after all, if they can't manage to tie down or hire people to keep their shit running, their value to their businesses diminishes.
However I somehow doubt this is happening all that often.

Very good.
HVAC is a good field and certainly won't go away.
