from the little i listened to jimmy, i agreed with him more than TYT on positions. but i just dont think he actually cares about his positions whereas i believe TYT definitely care about their

as an example, he called out kyle kulinski on twitter for not responding about syria. kyle has spoken about syria over a hundred times. im im not mistaken, it was kyles first story of the day the same day jimmy called him out for it

so jimmy wasnt talking about kyle speaking about syria. jimmy was really tweeting about kyle not defending jimmy on the the jimmy vs tyt syria debate. in other words, jimmy called out kyle about drama instead of policy. and i believe that to be a microcosm of jimmy dore. he's in it for one thing - the clicks
These people sound like a bunch of yentas.

i chose my words poorly, but thats my point. kyle only cares about policy. whereas jimmy is milking the drama for clicks

i tried a couple jimmy videos on the topic a week or two ago, but i couldnt make it past a minute or two. ive had enough of him for a lifetime at this point lol

TYT is a shill-outlet.

they're attacking Aaron Mate and Glenn Greenwald for their "journalistic integrity".

to be fair, I'd say much worse shit about both of them for a $20M contract.

The influencer economy has really ruined most politics. Much more interesting with all these "personalities" is what they're doing offline. Who are they organizing in their local communities? What kinds of mutual aid networks are they involved in? What attmepts have they made to shape policies in their towns, counties or states? How are they helping the actual working class get the political education to bargain for better wages and working conditions? What, if anything, is their electoral strategy to increase a progressive base in Congress? What actual nuts and bolts policies besides the big ticket long fight ones that are out there right now do they think people should get behind? Who or what do they donate their Google funded ad revenue to? What organizations do they belong to to build worker solidarity around the world and what do they do in those orgs? All the rest is just insider baseball and clickbait. It reminds me of how MMA shifted from results in the cage to highlight videos and smack talk.

Change has less than nothing to do with influencer wars. Watching them is entertainment. Believing it has anything to do with struggle is demobilizing.
