The saying is that you start out progressive and as you earn income
and build business for yourself you become more conservative...

My progression has been entirely the opposite

Started out a lead pipe swinging capitalist but the older I get the more
I'm convinced this shit is unsustainable in its current form

I'm starting to become progressive and it actually scares me. lol

broooo i used to be the most hardcore conservative, at least in terms of fiscal and monetary policy

and i was ignorant on alot of social shit and climate changr since i got my info from economic textbooks and news from 770am radio (mRk levin and rush limbaugh)

i used to call my progressive little brother a flaming liberal (with love. i didnt judge him i just thought he was dumb)

but it was the moment during neil degrasse tysons climate change episode of "cosmos" where they showed funes coming out of a car as purple that i started thinking, wait a sec... maybe the scientists arent lying

that realization made me realize that i need to question everything

so i gave TYT a shot since my brother had told me about them years before that. and the most inportant thing i learned was what citizens united is. and how almost every politician is bought out by corporations

i woudlve said to give "the hill" a chance since krystal is generally a smarter progressive than tyt and her demeanor is better too. but krystal and saagar left and started their own channel: breaking points.

worth checking them out. krystal is almost always right imo. but saagar is a populist right. so that channel may be a better source for you than TYT in the short-term. or maybe even in the long term since the TYT energy gets overwhelming

I think that's what the crux of this will come down to. If you find her guilty of the gun crime, do you still get a defense to prosecution by using that illegal gun and self-defense...

I think in a lot of cases like this attorneys and judges attempt to determine how much input each individual had to the developing situation.
I think Rittenhouse will be found guilty if his contribution is considered to be greater than 50%. I think him having an illegal gun traveling to the location and creating the initial situation by these virtues will be that the defining feature of this argument. Without the killing the gun crime would be an isolation.
If the gun crime remains in isolation most of the rest of the charges do not domino.

bro. i had the exaxt same feeling. excuse my 90s vernacular, but even when my beliefs cmbegan changing, i felt ashamed to be a progressive. it made me feel "gay" in the 90s usage of the word

eventually, i just bought some tyt shirts like AOC, rosa parks, MLK, etc and forced myself to wear them in public. and i dont know when, but at some point i went from being an embarassed progressive to proud of it

I assume planning/intent comes into consideration.. Kyle intentionally took steps to plan putting himself in this situation with an illegal gun.
