There hasn't been a ruling. The automatic stay on the enforcement of the mask ban, after being removed on Wednesday, is back in place.
The only thing this means is that the state will continue to withhold funding that is equal to school board members' salaries. The 13 school boards aren't going to reverse their mask mandates.
Because masks work in mitigating the spread of covid.

@MMAHAWK here's what happened:1. A group of parents filed a lawsuit saying that DeSantis's mask mandate ban in schools was unlawful. The judge agreed with them and ruled that the DeSantis/FDOE ban was unconstitutional.
2. DeSantis filed an expected appeal on September 2. An automatic stay on the previous ruling was issued, as per normal procedure.
3. On Wednesday (September 8) the judge overturned the automatic stay on the ruling, which means DeSantis's mask mandate ban goes back into effect pending his appeal.
4. The automatic stay was reinstated today.
Point at the fucking answer, then. Enough of this "I already did" shit. Why be such a troll all the time? If you're going to be so fucking high and mighty all the time, then at least stop with the stupid troll games.
